With P&E Building Services being an customer service oriented business, and the strain on the United States economy, we are constantly looking for ways to save our Wichita janitorial customers money. One of the most recent avenues we have found to cut costs is changing from a liquid with hand soap to a foaming hand soap.
We currently have a client using an 800 MIL Antibacterial liquid soap which gets around 700 hand washes per unit while dispensing 1.1 MIL per wash. However we have found it would be beneficial in multiple ways to change them into a 1250 MIL Antibacterial foaming soap which would get around 1,700 hand washes per unit while dispensing 0.7 MIL per wash. Yes the price is double for the foaming soap, but you will get 450 MIL more product and get around 300 more hand washes from one container of 1250 MIL foaming soap than you would get from two containers of 800 MIL liquid soap. Additional benefits we have found with foaming soap is it will be much cleaner and will not drip out of the dispenser like many liquid soaps do, which makes for a lot cleaner soap dispenser and leads to much less wasted product. We have also found studies show that you will use less water with a foaming soap compared to a liquid soap due to the lather created by the foam, even though there is less product dispensed per wash. I hope this provides you with a little insight on the comparison of liquid soap versus foaming soap, and potentially provides you with a pretty simple way to save a little money when it comes to your yearly janitorial needs.
